Day 1: Meet and greet at Entebbe international Airport – Transfer to Your Hotel
Day 2: Domestic Flight Transfer to Kisoro Airstrip – Road Transfer to the Lodge
Day 3:  Gorilla Tracking Experience
Day 4: Guided Batwa Pygmy Trail
Day 5: Guided Volcano Climbing
Day 6: Guided Golden Monkey Tracking – Transfer to Magical Bunyonyi
Day 7: Road Transfer to Entebbe with a stopover at the Royal Drum factory and Equator.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Meet and greet at Entebbe international Airport – Transfer to Your Hotel
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Adventure Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities.  Your will then be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed about your adventure safari.

Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money Changed on this day and time allowing you may go for city tour with the help of our driver/guide, visit the shopping Malls around town and craft villages to get items which you may need while in upcountry

Accommodation:  Protea by Marriot (Upscale) or Airport Guest House (Midmarket)

Day 2: Domestic Flight Transfer to Kisoro Airstrip – Road Transfer to the Lodge
After early Morning Breakfast, transfer to the Airstrip for your domestic flight transfer to Kisoro Airstrip where you will meet and greet with another representative to transfer you to the lodge. You will reach early for lunch at the Lodge.

Day 3:  Gorilla Tracking Experience
After an early breakfast depart to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here the gorilla tracking begins. Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. One of Africa’s major highlights is when you encounter these gentle apes. It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat rest, play and bond with their young ones. Follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest, and discover their gorgeous natural habitual and the many species they share it with. You are allowed an hour with the gorillas before finally sloping down back to your lodge.

Day 4: Guided Batwa Pygmy Trail
After breakfast, Proceed for a Batwa pygmy trail Experience– here we shall experience the culture of the ancient Batwa People who live in these forests, See the forest through the eyes of the first People who have lived here for over 500,000 years! Experience the lives of the Batwa People on the Interactive Batwa Trail and learn more about their hunting tricks, blacksmith, making of fire from sticks, herbal collections, weaving of Baskets, making bamboo cups, clothing beyond this generation among other interesting thrilling activities. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Guided Volcano Climbing
Today will be the day to enjoy the summits of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park which rises upwards to the three of the Virunga’s six volcanic summits with Muhavura being the highest – All these can be climbed in the day to get a reward of the views of Rwanda, Congo, the rift valley and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.  The trails passes through montane forests, bamboo stands and heather groves before encountering bizarre forms of Giant Lobelias and groundsels. The 4,127m summit which is adorned by a crystal clear Crater Lake with a 40m diameter, commands panoramic views along the length of Virunga Chain.

While the 3,474m Mount Gahinga is the smallest of the Virunga volcanoes and its bamboo – covered slopes rise up to lush, swamp – filled crater which is about 180m wide. The Jagged crown of Sabinyo bears several summits, with the highest providing the rare privilege of standing 3,669m high in all the three countries (Uganda, Rwanda and Dr Congo) at once.

Day6: Guided Golden Monkey Tracking – Transfer to Magical Bunyonyi
Have Breakfast and enjoy golden monkey tracking and like the gorillas, contact with these rare primates is limited to an hour though you will have a chance to follow the striking orange coated monkey in the company of ranger guides. After an early lunch, transfer to lake Bunyonyi which has breathtaking scenery. Spend the night overlooking Uganda deepest lake, where you may try your hand at paddling at dugout canoe, or eating fresh water crayfish.

Day 7: Road Transfer to Entebbe with a stopover at the Royal Drum factory and Equator.
After Breakfast, transfer to Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator for water experience, here you will too have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time.  Take some photos, then another stop over at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations arriving in the afternoon.
