This 6Day – Uganda Adventure Safari starts and ends in Entebbe International Airport. Meet eye to eye with the amazing chimpanzees of Uganda in their natural habitat, one of Africa’s major highlights. This close encounter with these amazing apes is simply breath-taking. Day1: Arrive and meet and greet – transfer to the Hotel
Day2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – stopover at royal Drum factory and at the Equator
Day3: Morning Game Drive to Kasenyi Lion Mating Grounds – Crater Drive to the Salt Lake
Day4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge – Afternoon Boat Safari
Day5: Guided game drives in Ishasha Sector – search for tree climbing lions
Day6: Relax whole morning at the Lodge – 2:00pm domestic Flight Transfer to Entebbe international Airport.

Detailed Itinerary
Day1: Arrive and meet and greet – transfer to the Hotel
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Adventure Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. Your will then be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed about your adventure safari.

Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money Changed on this day and time allowing you may go for city tour with the help of our driver/guide, visit the shopping Malls around town and craft villages to get items which you may need while in upcountry

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – stopover at royal Drum factory and at the Equator
After morning Breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stopover at the Equator for water experience, here you will too have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time. Take some photos, then another stop over at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations arriving in the afternoon.

Day3: Morning Game Drive to Kasenyi Lion Mating Grounds – Crater Drive to the Salt Lake
Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Have an early morning game drive where you have an opportunity to view the massive Rwenzori as backdrop, which provides excellent opportunities to spot lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck. The game drives and the boat trip are memorable methods of discovering a vast array of Ugandan wildlife. Be sure to have your camera ready for these amazing sightings!

In the Afternoon, enjoy a 27km scenic crater drive through the north of mweya peninsular and be rewarded with the history of the Albertine Violent tectonic that happened years ago. It grants a breath taking sight with the rim of the extinct crater filled with lakes, forests and grasslands which are home to the wild game, birds and reptiles.
Proceed to Katwe town and meet the community extracting salt from saline Lake Katwe using evaporation pans. Our site local experts are in position to take you through the crater and see the process. You will too stop at Lake Munyanyange and Nyamunuka, the crater lakes rich in water birds including the seasonal migratory lesser flamingos that visit the Lake Between August and November.

Day4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge – Afternoon Boat Safari
In the Morning, enjoy your breakfast and Transfer to the Forest filled Kyambura Gorge that grants a giddy viewpoint on the edge of 100m – deep chasm before descending into the depth where you will track chimpanzees.

Upon arriving at your lodge, you will enjoy a hot lunch and later in the afternoon take a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and this launch/cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species.

Transfer to Ishasha Plains

Day5: Guided game drives in Ishasha Sector – search for tree climbing lions
After breakfast Search for the Tree Climbing Lions that Characterise the Region during your sundowner and morning guided game drives. Our Guide drivers will be in position to spot these felines and all the mammals that stay in the Open Plains.

Day6: Relax whole morning at the Lodge – 2:00pm domestic Flight Transfer to Entebbe international Airport.
