Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe international Airport and transfer to your Hotel
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. Your will then be transferred to your guest house where you will be briefed about your adventure safari.

Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money Changed on this day and time allowing you may go for city tour with the help of our driver/guide, visit the shopping Malls around town and craft villages to get items which you may need while in upcountry. Your chef will also be making his shopping today thus you can join him.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – Sundowner Boat Safari on Lake Mburo
After breakfast, we leisurely transfer to L. Mburo National Park, the smallest National Park of Uganda. Though being small, it has a lot offer!! Centered on a series of swamp-fringed lakes its birdlife is very rich. The green acacia woodland harbors wildlife like Zebra, warthog, Eland, Impala, not to mention the lake itself, which is home to schools of hippos and crocodiles! Furthermore, Uganda Wildlife Authority recently brought 15 giraffes from Murchison falls to Lake Mburo and they have now multiplied.

Later in the afternoon at 16:00 enjoy the boat ride on Lake Mburo and get quite close to the croc and hippos. As you return to your Lodge, you may have an evening game drive as you return to your lodge.

Day 3: Guided walking safari to the Hyena Den – Night guided Game Drive
After breakfast have a safari game walk under the escort of an armed ranger. The Kopjes are particularly interesting with the camouflage kilspringers and topis. Due to cattle herding in the area it is amusing to see zebra grazing alongside the long horned Ankole cattle peaceably. It is exciting to approach wildlife at such close range.

You will lead to The Kazuma Look out, a Higher point in Lake Mburo where you will stand to view the surrounding communities, Hills, Lake Mburo and the dotted savannah of the Park the is a home to quiet a good number of mammals and birds, You will visit the Hyenas Den and you will too speak to your guide about other interesting spots he may suggest to Work through – We crown the day with a Night Game drive.

Day 4: Morning Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After your early morning breakfast, pack-up your bags and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park. The drive takes you through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening. Day 5: Gorilla Tracking Experience
After an early breakfast depart to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here the gorilla tracking begins. Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. One of Africa’s major highlights is when you encounter these gentle apes. It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat rest, play and bond with their young ones. Follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest, and discover their gorgeous natural habitual and the many species they share it with. You are allowed an hour with the gorillas before finally sloping down back to your lodge.
Don’t forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch, plenty of water, gloves, hat, and water proof bag for protection of your camera in case of rain.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national Park – Afternoon Relaxation
After Breakfast, we will leisurely transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, reaching early to check in for lunch at the Lodge. Depending on how you feel this day, you may explore the wilderness characterised by over 95 mammal species, Birds, volcanic feature, diverse vegetation types, communities, landing sites and so much more to meet. Day 7: Morning Guided game drive – Afternoon guided Boat safari
Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Have a Morning guided game drive where you have an opportunity to view the massive Rwenzori as backdrop, which provides excellent opportunities to spot lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck. The game drives are memorable methods of discovering a vast array of Ugandan wildlife. Be sure to have your camera ready for these amazing sightings!.

You will enjoy a hot lunch and later in the afternoon take a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and this launch/cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species.

Day 8: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Sundowner Hike to the top of the World
Wake Up at leisure and transfer to Kibale National Park, following the mystical Rwenzori backdrops – We will reach early depending on the time you departed QENP. We will have lunch and later enjoy a sundowner hike to the top of the World. Here we will view all the surrounding villages, the green canopy of kibale forest, tea estates and plantations among others. Overnight: Turaco Treetops

Day 9: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience
After breakfast at your lodge, transfer to the starting point of your Chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest National Park which is reputed to have the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee, man’s closest relative. Kibale’s 1450 Chimpanzee represent Uganda’s largest population of this endangered primate. Kibale is also a home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey. Other primates include the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon to mention but a few. So you will enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many others. Overnight: Turaco Treetops

Day 10: Transfer to Murchison Falls with a stopover at Mparo Tombs for the Bunyoro History
After Breakfast, transfer to Hoima for a guided visit to Mparo Tombs. Here you will have Bunyoro’s Culture and History! The site is located about three kilometres from Hoima town on Masindi road where Bunyoro’s great King Omukama Kabalega and his son Omukama Sir Tito Winyi are buried.
The site also has graves for the Queen Mothers and other royals. The tombs sit on a six-acre piece of land enclosed in a perimeter wall, erected by the UPDF during renovation in 2008. In front of the site is a monument erected to mark the day King Kabalega met explorer Dr. Emin Pasha in September 1877. You will be met by a Local guide who will share the History and Culture of Bunyoro – All these artifacts on Kabalega grave, make Mparo a place of cultural importance and a major tourist potential in the Country.

Day 11: Guided Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Safari, Hike to the Top of the Falls
Arise very early in the morning for your game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile in your open-roof vehicle which will give you an excellent opportunity to view and photograph the diverse wildlife. Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard.

After lunch, go for a boat cruise upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.

After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls, you will continue to the top of the falls where you will have the amazing view of the falls! See where the Nile -world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Later, return to your camping site and relax in the evening.

Day 12: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After morning breakfast, transfer to Kidepo valley National Park with a stopover at a selected restaurant for lunch at your expense. Kidepo valley National Park is Uganda’s most remote wilderness. Overnight: Kidepo Savannah Lodge

Day 13: Full Day Guided game drives
After breakfast, carry packed lunch in order to have a full day wilderness survey, take a guided game drive in the morning to the Narus Valley via the Palm tree lined Kidepo river in search for Leopard tortoise, lions, cheetah, Zebra, Waterbuck, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Warthogs, Patas monkeys and big herds of Buffalo leading to the Kanangorok Hot springs, You will have an afternoon guided safari walk to Rionomde Rock returning late afternoon at The Lodge. Day 14: Morning Karamojong Cultural Experience
Spend the Day with the Ik people in Morungule Mountain. They are the ethnic group numbering about 10,000 people living in the Morungule Mountain of northeastern Uganda near the border with Kenya.

The Ik were displaced from their land to create the Kidepo Valley National Park and consequently suffered extreme famine due to the raids they suffered from their tribe’s mates. The Ik are subsistence farmers who grind their own grain and are very remote and very interesting socially, they live in small villages arranged in clusters, which comprise the total community with each village surrounded by an outer wall.

Day 15: Transfer to Moroto with a stopover in Kotido, Visit the largest Manyatta of Nakapelimoru in Kotido
Have breakfast and drive to Kotido reaching by 9:00 o’clock for the Cattle Market Visit. You will mix in the drama of selling and buying and all negotiations. You will later have a community Visit to the biggest Community Manayattas in Kotido where you will enjoy the Comical hair Styles and body Tattoos – The Nakapelimoru community seats on the Nakipel which is the Largest group of rural housing in East Africa. It will give you an insight of the Karamojong backward culture and their way of life and it’s a mountain hike with astonishing view on Karamoja savannah. Day 16: Morning Hike to Mount Moroto, Visit the Tepeth Tribe – Transfer to Sipi Falls
Have Breakfast have a guided hike to Mount Moroto – here you will have the best view of Karamojong Plains, you will later proceed with a guided visit to the Tepeth tribe who are said to be the original settlers of the Karamoja planes. They were socially hunters and food/fruit gatherers but later, due to famine caused by decline in Wildlife Population in 1970 and early 80s as well as increase in human population, they later adapted Agro-pastoralism to boost on the way of living in their livelihoods. Day 17: Hike the fall that Characterise Sipi Region – enjoy coffee experience
Arise early morning and enjoy the sun rise on the plains- we will have a guided hike and nature walk, we shall tackle three falls that make up Sipi. The hike of the three falls involves hiking a trail network that is characterized by a steep and slippery path, mud on rainy days, climbing ladders and going through farms as well as Checking on caves.
We will have an afternoon guided coffee tour with a site guide where you will be taken through plantations to learn about how coffee is planted and later you will be taken where it is processes and you will be showed the process before planting to consuming it.

Day 18: Transfer to Jinja with a stopover in Mbale to Visit the Jewish community
Transfer to Jinja known as the adventure Capital of Uganda with a variety of different Adrenaline filled activities to choose from. You will pass via the Jewish community and church in Mbale, later transfer to with lunch in a selected restaurant. Overnight: 2 Friends Guest House

Day 19: Full Day Rafting on the Nile River
After breakfast, explore the Nile Valley through the most amazing experiences of rafting grade 5 rapids on the Mighty white River Nile!
