Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest National park and fast conservation area that derives its name from the thundering Murchison Falls. The beauty of this park is that the Nile River traverses through this wilderness dividing its Savannah grassland which leaves the Northern bank roamed by the Big Game while the forest inhabits birds and primates in the Southern Bank.
Murchison Falls National Park is a home an estimate of over 700 individual Rothschild's giraffe according to 2012 Uganda Wildlife Authority Census Report making it 75% of the total world's population of these mega fauna species. A three or four to five days Maximum Wildlife circuit to Murchison Falls National Park rewards guests with Big6 Game which includes the Chimpanzees in Budongo Forest and Ziwa rhino sanctuary’s 23 southern white Rhinos.
