Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest National Park of Uganda and though being small, it has a lot offer!! It is a break between Kampala/Entebbe and all western circuit conservation areas with a Centered series of swamp-fringed lakes its birdlife is very rich. The green acacia woodland harbors wildlife like Zebra, Giraffes, warthog, Eland, Impala, not to mention the lake itself, which is home to schools of hippos and crocodiles!

Guests can explore the Eastern diverse part of the Park with a guided Horse ride which is operated by Lake Mburo’s most comfortable Mihingo Lodge. As well, the Park’s eco system can be explored on a mountain biking adventure where visitors get a chance to cycle up close to the Wildlife.
Guided Salt Lick and Forest walk
Guided walking safaris exploring the Park culminates to the Natural salt lake where massive sightings of wildlife happen easily from the Timber observation platform, Visitors can easily see the Zebra and the Ankole Cattle grazing peacefully here. While the small tract of the forest in the western side is a home to variety of Birds. Guests can follow the Lake side track to only enjoy a panoramic View of Lake Mburo National Park. Lake Mburo and other seven lakes in the area can be sighted better on the climb to Kazuma Lookout which lies steep at the top of the National Park.
Guided Day and Night Game Drives
Our Guests explore the eastern game hinterland tracks of Lake Mburo on our 4×4 Popup Safari Vehicle where our field experts marvel with them through the open savannah in search for animals and Birds. It is much rewarding for visitors to have a Night Game Drive here to get a chance to see nocturnal such as the Bushbabys, Pottos and on rare chances a Leopard.
Guided Boat Trips on Lake Mburo
Memorable Boat Trips start from the Jetty at the Lakeside Campsite to the Eastern Part of Lake Mburo Shores. Guests watch out for crocs and Hippopotamus during this two hours Voyage. Birds like Pelicans, Heron and fish eagle can easily be seen with a thin chance to come across the fin foot and shoebill sightings.
