The recent Rwenzori Marathon in Kasese, attracted a wide celebration through endurance, resilience and unity from the seasoned multi-generational community groups, and adventurous travelers.
The race was an all-inclusion accessible race that involved wheel-chair participants and together thousands were able to enjoy the mystical backdrops of Africa’s Highest block snow-capped mountain dubbed the Mountains of the moon.
The marathon was complemented with Big five Wildlife encounters in Queen Elizabeth National Park, community walks, a relaxing Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel where thousands of Bird enthusiasts paid more attention to the stupendous birdlife – not forgetting it became so possible to connect for Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park and Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – making the marathon an all-inclusive tailor-made race.
