6 Day - Tradition Rwanda Primate Expedition Safari
Meet up close to man’s closed relative, it is a humbling experience seeing the beauty of the Forest through the dark eyes of the Gorilla.
Overview:
This 6 – Day Rwanda Primate Experience grants our guests an opportunity for gorilla tracking in Volcanoes NP and chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest. Volcanoes National Park is a homes to a portion of the world’s 1063 mountain gorillas. Whilst, Nyungwe Forest National Park found in the farther Southern section of Rwanda, is a 6 hours’ drive away from Kigali capital and extends for about 1000sq.kms, sheltering important wildlife species including 13 primate species, 310 species of birds.

Day 1: Meet and greet at Kigali international Airport.
Day 2: Road Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking Experience
Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Meet and greet at Kigali international Airport.
| Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money Changed on this day and time allowing you may go for city tour with the help of our driver/guide, visit the shopping Malls around town and craft villages to get items which you may need while in upcountry. Drive through Nyamirambo Township – this is the oldest town in Kigali which has a unique stretched neighborhood found in south western corner of Kigali that envelopes diverse behavior with dominancy of Arab – like Culture.
It is a huge stretched corner which is sometimes referred to as a gangsters’ Paradise! Characterized with Many Muslim residents, Mosques and unlike other places that close by 8pm with everyone inside their homes, Nyamirambo hustles and rocks late into the nights! |

Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Day 5: Chimpanzee Experience
| Begin your day 5 of the days 6 Rwanda safari with a heavy breakfast, after, visit Uwinka reception to meet the park official for briefing about the chimpanzee trekking rules. Set off to search for a habituated chimp community in Nyungwe Forest via Uwinka area and this will be for 2-4 hours and it includes one hour of close encounter. | Overnight: One and Only Nyungwe house Meal Plan: F/B |

Day 6: Road Transfer to Kigali International Airport
Have morning breakfast and transfer to Kigali for lunch in a selected restaurant and later depending on your flight time visit the Genocide memorial center in Kigali – The center was officially opened in 2004 to Mark the 10th commemoration of 1994 genocide that was against the Tutsi in Rwanda. The center serves as the final place where masses can flock to grieve for their lost ones, and as for today; it acts as a museum where both locals and international visitors can learn about the history, implementation and consequences of genocide.
We will explore the craft villages for souvenir shopping.
