After breakfast, we will transfer you back to Kigali for your outbound flight. The return drive offers a final opportunity to take in Rwanda’s breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival in Kigali, you’ll be dropped off at Kigali International Airport for your departure. If time permits, you may also enjoy optional activities around Kigali before your flight
Option – 01:
Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, opened in 2004 to mark the 10th commemoration of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. This solemn site serves as a final resting place for many, while also offering a museum experience where both locals and visitors can learn about the history, execution, and lasting impact of the genocide.
Next, explore the vibrant Nyamirambo neighborhood, one of Kigali’s oldest and most culturally diverse areas, located in the southwestern corner of the city. Known for its Arab-influenced culture, this bustling neighborhood, often called ‘Gangster’s Paradise,’ is home to many Muslim residents and mosques. Unlike other parts of Kigali that quiet down by 8 p.m., Nyamirambo comes alive at night, with its lively streets and energetic atmosphere lasting late into the evening
